Honorable Mention from (IPA) International Photography Awards 2015

Eric McClendonComment

I'm very pleased to share with all of you some exciting news! I was given an honorable mention award for my series Flux Inertia in the "deeper perspective" category at this year's International Photography Awards.

I entered sometime earlier this year...and I had forgot about it in some respect. But I was thankfully reminded by receiving an email — although I had to search through the categories (because I had forgotten which one I entered), sure enough I found my series under "deeper perspective." Which looking at the winners in the categories, I wish I had entered Flux in "people," or "fine art." Regardless, I couldn't be happier that my work survived on an international level.

As an article on PHOTO+ qoutes,

The 13th annual Lucie Awards (known in the industry as the “Oscars of Photography”)...

I feel very gracious to even receive an Honorable Mention in this prestigious photography award competition. I'm looking forward to sharing Flux Inertia with many more audiences. But Flux is only just starting...I am looking to expand the series with new material coming very soon. So stay in touch and see how the series grows and draws attention. This series is dear to my heart, making this all too exciting.
